While the Oppenheim Group business is a key focus on the show, many viewers tune in to learn all about the Selling Sunset cast's personal lives, particularly their romantic relationships – which is why fans wanted to know all about Heather Rae Young's now-husband Tarek El Moussa in the last season.

The show's producer Adam DiVello dropped a major hint last year that El Moussa would be appearing in the show and judging by first-look photos of the upcoming season, he was right.

Since their wedding took place in October this year, perhaps we'll even get to see them walk down the aisle in the upcoming season?

Here's everything you need to know about Tarek El Moussa – Heather Rae Young's husband.

Who is Tarek El Moussa?

Tarek El Moussa, 40, is the now-husband of Heather Rae Young, a real estate investor and a television personality.

He has starred in HGTV's property reality show Flip or Flop with his ex-wife Christina Anstead since 2013, with the show following their real estate agency The El Moussa Group.

Heather announced back in July 2020, just before the third season of Selling Sunset arrived on Netflix, that she'd become engaged to her beau, writing on Instagram: "The Future Mrs. Tarek El Moussa!!!!" with a picture of the pair.

Tarek had his own Instagram worthy post: "This is the exact moment I got down on one knee and asked @heatherraeyoungto be my wife! You just never know where life is going to take you. If you told me 13 months ago I would be engaged today I would have called you crazy. You just can’t predict what’s going to happen. One moment you are sitting there and the next your life is completely different."

His enthusiastic message didn't stop there as he revealed the former Playboy model had "not only become my best friend but she’s also incredible to [children] Tay and Bray".

The TV presenter did not appear on Selling Sunset's third season, with House Beautiful reporting that this was because he was under contract on HGTB channel presenting another Californian real estate programme Flip or Flop with his ex-wife Christina Anstead.

It's the same reason that Justin Hartley hasn't appeared on Selling Sunset. His contract with NBC family drama This Is Us reportedly prevented him from appearing, although it's doubtful he would have been keen to appear in the new season of the real estate docusoap judging by the spectacular revelations.

However, it now looks as though Tarek El Moussa will be appearing in the upcoming season, with season four set to cover the run-up to his wedding to Heather Rae Young.
